The terms

• 30% of every payment, for the lifetime of the subscription. Monthly plans accrue monthly; the 6-month plan accrues when it renews.
• First touch wins, for 90 days. Your link drops a cookie that lasts 90 days. If someone arrives through your link and later through someone else's, the credit stays yours.
• You earn on money we receive. A month covered entirely by a discount code pays us nothing, so it accrues nothing. Your share is computed on the amount actually collected and rounded down to the cent.
• Payouts are manual, on request. We are a small operation and we are not pretending otherwise: your balance is visible in your dashboard in real time, and we transfer it when you ask. No minimum threshold.
• You cannot refer yourself. Signing up through your own link attributes nothing.

What we will not do

• Cut your rate later on customers you already introduced. The rate is frozen on your account the day you claim your link.
• Expire a balance you have earned.
• Reset your earnings if a customer pauses and comes back.

Where it can end

We will suspend a link — and stop accruing on it — for spam, for paid search on our own brand terms, or for claiming things about IndieBob that are not true. Earnings already accrued before a suspension are still paid. If we ever wind the programme down, existing partners keep accruing on the customers they already introduced.

Refunds and chargebacks

Your share accrues when Stripe reports an invoice as paid. If one of those invoices is later refunded or charged back, we deduct it from your next payout and tell you which invoice it was — today that reconciliation is done by hand, not automatically. Nothing already written to your ledger is deleted or edited; it is append-only, so you can always see what was earned and what was paid.
